Giuseppe Andaloro is considered by international critics to be one of the finest pianists of his generation and he has been guest of renowned festivals (Salzburger Festspiele, Ruhr Klavier, Spoleto Festival dei Due Mondi, Bucarest Enescu, Ravello, Duszniki-Zdròj, Festival di Brescia e Bergamo) in the most important concert halls and theaters in the world.
He regularly plays with major orchestras (London Philharmonic Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players) great conductors such as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Gianandrea Noseda, Andrew Parrott.
He has won the First Prize in some of the major international competitions (International Competition of London, Porto, Sendai, Hong Kong, and above all the “Ferruccio Busoni” in Bolzano, 2005).
Andaloro gives master classes in Italy and abroad (Tokyo Showa University, Fresno California State University, International Keyboard Academy of Thailand, Kuala Lumpur Chopin Society) and he is a member of the jury for prestigious international competitions. He has many recordings on his credit: his last Sony Album “Cruel Beauty” (November 2013) is a world premiére of Italian Late Renaissance and Early Baroque music, for the first time recorded on a modern piano.
Among his recent engagements there were his debut with Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome on July 2014 and at Teatro La Scala with Orchestra La Verdi on September 2014. An upcoming work is an Asian tour will touch Hong Kong and Bangkok in October 2014.
His repertoire ranges from Italian Renaissance to modern and contemporary music.
